Buyer pack
Buying a used camera and have 15 minutes to check it in front of the seller? We're preparing a pack that walks you through every test on your phone, step by step.
What the pack will include
- A step-by-step inspection checklist: body, mount, ports, cards, battery, burst shooting, stabilisation.
- Known faults for your model.
- Tests on your phone screen: colours and a grid for the screen and viewfinder, plus an AF test chart.
- Shutter count, dead pixels and sensor dust in one place.
- A verdict at the end: buy, negotiate the price or walk away.
- Works offline, at a camera fair or a train station.
One-off payment, no subscription. The free tools on the site stay free.
Thank you! We've counted your vote. When the pack is ready, we'll announce it on the site and on Facebook.
